My Story

Most of my career was spent in the corporate world working in a broad range of areas,  including accounting, finance, customer service, corporate ethics, regulatory compliance, and legislative affairs.  During this time, life changes caused me to take over all of the financial matters in my personal life and I got a crash course in record keeping and taxes.

In 2006, I left the corporate world behind and started working with a small CPA firm where I was able to apply all that I’d learned to individuals. Pretty soon it became obvious that not everyone shared my enthusiasm for organizing  their own finances!  I realized many people could benefit from better organization of their records. And I also saw their struggles in keeping up with the day to day finances while trying to run their business or manage their family life.

Why Work With Me?

My life experiences are similar to many of yours: marriage, divorce, career, family, and elderly parents. Because I’ve lived these things, I can relate to the challenges you are facing.  My own parents live in another state and I have had to come up with creative ways to handle all of their financial affairs remotely.  When my dad required 24 hour care, I learned about applying for VA Aid & Attendance benefits.  After he passed away, there were a myriad of details related to life insurance and retirement accounts that had to be handled for mom.  I love sharing what I’ve learned with others who need my help.

I conduct a free initial consultation so we can decide if my experience and our personalities will be a good fit for both of us.  Then we will develop a customized a plan to make your life easier!
